The Kentucky Speedway, once a hub of high-speed racing action and a staple on the NASCAR calendar, has been noticeably absent from the racing scene in recent years.

The Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA) Board of Directors voted at its meeting Dec. 14 to add six new directors in 2023.

The KHRC approved Tuesday significant amendments to regulations which will improve measures of transparency around rules violations.

The changes include allowing the KHRC to publicly reveal alleged violations, as well as setting specific timelines for split sample testing.
