A man is arrested after a 9-hour standoff for threatening to kill a child at their school, Alamance County deputies said.

Deputies said they heard the man as he threatened to “shoot up” the victim’s home and run his car through her house.

Akron brothers Javan and Markus Rogers were killed within three months of each other in 2002. Their slayings remain unsolved 21 years later.
