TransLink has ordered an additional 30 Mark V cars (6 trains) from Alstom to serve the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain extension.

The ridership of a North Shore SkyTrain line from Park Royal to Metrotown would exceed Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT).
