A controversial bylaw banning political signs in the city of Surrey is being challenged in B.C. Supreme Court.

While rivers didn’t rise much from the rain, it appears jail populations rose over the weekend. Boyd, Rowan and the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center all had upticks in lock-ups over the weekend, according to jail records.
