A Baton Rouge police officer has been put on paid administrative leave while he is the subject of an ongoing investigation by a grand jury, a police department spokesperson said

Detectives conducting an internal investigation into allegations of a cover-up involving one of BRPDs highest ranking officers are seeking phone records that could further implicate him in the case.
