The tires have sidewall defects that could cause the tire to completely tear apart. Over 430,000 tires have the potential to tear up meaning serious or even deadly risk for over 100,000 vehicles currently on the road. Print WASHINGTON—Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. is recalling 430,000-plus P-metric white-sidewall/raised white-letter light-truck tires in 15 brand/line designations that may develop a sidewall bulge or separation, which could result in an in-service tire failure.
