No. 13 Delaware cruised against Towson, 16-8, a surprisingly decisive victory in a CAA that’s recently been defined by close slugfests. Matt Kilkeary tied a career-high with 13 saves. Delaware started with a 4-1 run, then broke the game open by holding Towson scoreless for the entire second quarter and going on a 5-0 run in the third.

The lacrosse world would not be glamorizing over a killer named Kitchen, but punisher from Peterborough. Mike Robinson scored the first two goals and three of the first four of the game for the Blue Hens. And then he would score again, and again, and again. Robinson eventually found the back of the net seven times in the first half of play and twice in the fourth quarter to end the game with a career and CAA single-game record of nine goals. It’s the most goals scored in a game by a Blue Hen since Hayler Osborn put up nine
