Matt Estrin, owner of 477 Distilling and the Greeley Hatchet House, has a new business concept: waffles and whiskey, words he associates immediately with Oak & Maple Whiskey and Waffle Co. Oak for the oak barrels in which whiskey is aged, and maple for waffles.

Blake Tomasino, the owner and operator of HiLo Design Co., spoke with the Greeley Tribune this week about the creative freedom he's found starting his own screen printing, embroidery and design business and operating the entire enterprise himself.
