These are the faces of 12 paedophiles and perverts linked to Merseyside jailed so far this year for terrible sex crimes.
This grim list includes a cowardly sex attacker who targeted a girl in a nightmare ordeal as she walked home from school.
Judges dealt with one young man who groomed girls on Snapchat before subjecting them to sexual abuse, some of which the sick pervert filmed on his mobile phone, and another predator who used the social network to groom a child before repeatedly raping her.
A week prior on Feb. 5, deputies received reports of a suspect cutting a catalytic converter off of a vehicle near Atwood Boulevard and Lyons Avenue in Newhall.
Shortly after the report was filed, deputies spotted a vehicle matching the description of the wanted suspect near the Old Road and Valencia Boulevard.
Deputies arrested four individuals who had the stolen catalytic converter as well as narcotics and a saw commonly used to cut the catalytic converters.
Sheriff’s are urging residents to report crime when it happens.
“Help us be on the look out, always report crime,” Arriaga said. “We are here for you. When a crime is reported, our proactive deputies continuously stay vigilant, on the look out for any outstanding suspects or suspected vehicles.”
