Son grayson was shot and killed by his dad who then killed himself. just hours before the shooting, she petitioned the court to remove him from his fathers care after she says his father sent her threatening messages. that wasnt the first time she tried to get the legal system to intervene, but it never happened. now shes on a mission to pass greysons law. it would make it easier to remove a child if a parent is threatening or abusing the parent. we are joined now. alison, thank you so much for ...

Judge cannot take action in removing a child from the home even though some of the threats are egregious and actions are egregious. in alisons case, her former husband was putting trackers on her car and all sorts of other issues. its called coercive control. its something were trying to expand the definition of domestic violence to include some of these more humiliating, threatening kind of -- the step before violence type of violence. and unfortunately in florida, and most states, the judges d...
