The Mohawk Valley region’s economic landscape has undergone a dramatic change that has turned pessimism and cynicism into confidence and progress, with more than $2 billion in public and private investment already committed to revitalizing the area. 

Utica has received a $4 million Restore New York grant that will help revitalize the iconic Mayro Building near Genesee Street and Banks Place.

The state has awarded a total of $9 million to four different development projects in the Mohawk Valley as part of the first round of the Restore New York Communities

Governor Hochul announced more than $102 million awarded to 64 projects through the Restore New York Communities Initiative.
