Mariposa deputies and Search & Rescue continue search for missing swimmer in the Merced River.

Search and rescue efforts have reached day three for a swimmer who went missing in the Merced River in Mariposa County.

Authorities said the swimmer was swept downriver while swimming near Briceburg on Sunday.
