Rains continued to lash parts of Delhi, leading to waterlogging and affecting traffic movement in several areas of the city.

In Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, light to moderate rain and thundershower warnings have been issued.

Following heavy downpours in Delhi and the NCR, pedestrians were compelled to walk through severely inundated lanes and main roads.

Several districts in Uttar Pradesh, including Jhansi, Orai, Lucknow, Kanpur, and Bahraich have witnessed torrential rainfall in the past 24 hours.

Bengaluru Rain: The woman, identified as Akhila, fetched something for balance due to the strong flow of water near Mayura Bakery. She accidentally touched a nearby electric pole and fell down.

Himachal Pradesh weather update: Deputy director of IMD Himachal Pradesh Bui Lal said that during the past 24 hours most parts of the state received heavy rainfall and this will continue in the region.

Dharamshala flash floods: The NDRF, fire brigade, and local authorities reached the spot to provide relief soon after getting initial information. No casualties have been reported so far.

Odisha IMD alert: The IMD, in a bulletin, said that the deep depression over coastal West Bengal and Odisha moved inland and lay centered over southern Jharkhand around 8.30 AM.

IMD alert in Odisha: North Odisha will receive the maximum rainfall today while rain intensity will increase in western districts tomorrow,” Mohapatra said.

Kerala weather update: As per the rule curve, the capacity of the dam is 112.99 meters. The situation is not alarming at present but the shutters were opened and raised up to 5 cm in view of the heavy rains.
