HARRISBURG -- The North Callaway Ladybirds hit three home runs as they went 2-0 in their doubleheader Saturday at Harrisburg High School.

CAIRO, Mo. -- Out of the three Callaway County schools competing in the Cairo SB Tourney, the North Callaway Ladybirds did the best, taking sixth out of eight teams Saturday at Northeast (Cairo) High School.

MACKS CREEK -- The Class 2 North Callaway Ladybirds took 12th out of 25 teams in the 2023 Take the Lake Tournament after losing 8-3 to the Class 3 Tolton Trailblazers and 5-0 to the Class 5 Francis Howell Vikings Saturday at Ballparks National.

AUXVASSE -- North Callaways pitching and Meagan Schmidts performance at the plate and the circle led to the Ladybirds finishing the week 3-0 against district opponents.

MOKANE -- The away team won the scheduled regular season Callaway Cup softball game for the fourth straight season; unlike last season, it was a resounding result.

The North Callaway Ladybirds return seven starters from last seasons team that made it to the district semifinals, and theyre hoping to rise to the occasion and play to their potential this year.

The North Callaway Ladybirds went 2-1 in Wednesdays summer scrimmages, beating the New Franklin Lady Bulldogs 18-3 and the Harrisburg Bulldogs 7-1 before losing 10-2 to the Penney Hornets.

CENTRALIA -- The North Callaway Ladybirds opened their summer scheduled with four scrimmages Tuesday at Centralia High School.
