This is a court with a 6-3 conservative super majority and the chief justice is probably of the conservatives, the least conservative, although he himself is quite conservative. so the question here is, how can he rein in that hard-core conservative bloc of the court. and it seemed obvious last week in oral arguments and this week in terms of how these opinions written and where the chief justice finds himself is that maybe hes having a hard time keeping all of the conservative bloc in line. >> ...
