It is a covid19 anthem, aimed at engendering a sense of community, hope and compassion for people around the globe, struggling to overcome this pandemic. For the song, which he wrote back in April/May 2020 when quarantine and lockdown became buzz words in Trinidad and Tobago, and synonymous with the new lifestyle, John sought out a stellar cast of artistes, locally, regionally and internationally, to achieve that global spread.

Lewis inspires Vessigny s youth through sailing

Sunday 21 February 2021 Young sailors of the Andrew Lewis Sailing Foundation get some time on the water at Vessigny Beach recently. - Melvern Isaac “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country,” former US president John F. Kennedy (1917–1963). In October 2005, David Lewis brought his dream to reality by opening a sailing school at Vessigny Beach. This initiative, now led by his son and two-time Olympian Andrew Lewis, helped build dreams for many young sailing prospects – several of whom reside within the seaside community. For the past 15 years, Lewis and his team of instructors have educated and inspired youngsters of Vessigny, and throughout Trinidad and Tobago, to chase their dreams.

Wednesday 17 February 2021 Olympic sailor Andrew Lewis guides a young sailor at the Andrew Lewis Sailing Foundation Mentoring through Sailing programme at Vessigny Beach over the weekend. - Melvern Isaac THE Andrew Lewis Sailing Foundation hosted a two-day ‘Mentorship through Sailing’ programme at Vessigny Beach over the weekend. The Olympic sailor held in-depth, rotated sessions with over 50 children, some of whom have been a part of his foundation since its inception 13 years ago. Owing to the pandemic, this was the first time, since December 2019, Lewis was able to host this initiative with his bunch of seasoned and new campaigners. The laser class sailor, however, used this opportunity to not only give his students some long-awaited time on the water, but to instil life lessons and draw correlations with the sport and daily life.
