Montreal residents streamed back into the seat of municipal government for the first time in five years on Saturday as the historic City Hall building reopened to the public following prolonged and costly renovations.

Montreal City Hall will be open to public visits starting Saturday after been closed for five years during a massive $211-million restoration project.
