NPA will have to battle their way through another Stalingrad style legal defence before they get close to a guilty verdict writes Mandy Wiener.

The provisional liquidators of African Global Operations, formerly Bosasa, have scored a legal victory, with the Supreme Court of Appeal ruling, effectively, that the liquidation of six companies which scored unlawful contracts from the state can go ahead.

Liquidators wrote to the Zondo Commission on Monday after businessman Kevin Wakeford appeared last week. During his testimony, Wakeford tried to introduce evidence from the secret inquiry, which he said would show that Agrizzi and former Bosasa chief financial officer Andries Van Tonder lied under oath and that he was falsely implicated.  Wakefords lawyers say they got the evidence from Gavin Watsons nephew Jared who is a director at African Global Holdings.  The liquidators for Bosasa have...
