Jacksonville voters seem to be generally happy with their local elected officials, according to a new UNF poll.

New UNF polling shows there’s a lot of support in Jacksonville for a new jail and there’s support for a new stadium if it comes with other community benefits.

A poll by the University of North Florida Public Opinion Research Lab finds a little over half of voters say they’re opposed to taxpayer money going to the stadium, but an overwhelming 81 percent favor the 150 million dollar part of the deal going towards community support.

A new Univeristy of North Florida survey says the proposed Community Benefits Agreement with the Jacksonville Jaguars greatly amplifies support for the stadium deal.

The new UNF poll found that 56% of the public supports the stadium renovation deal, but if it includes the community benefits agreement in NFL history.
