The money would pay for replacing and repairing about 90 miles of track throughout the system, and also it would pay for some much needed seismic retro fitting. The mayors say passing the bond measure is critical to the regions transportation system. I am cold front this will pass and thats because bay area residents cannot afford to wait to break down the federal gridlock that has denied regions like ours the desperately needed funds to maintain our infrastructure.
