Mistrial declared in sex offender registry case
The one-day trial for convicted sexual offender Ryan Trapani at the Bennington Superior Courthouse on a charge of failure to comply with a sex offender registry ended in a mistrial after the jury became hopelessly deadlocked after several hours of unsuccessful deliberations.
