CONCORD — A federal court jury has found a Manchester police officer used excessive force during a 2018 melee outside a Manchester bar and awarded the victim $2,001.

A federal jury is awarding $2,001 in damages to a man who said Manchester police used excessive force during an arrest captured on a cellphone in 2018.

Four Manchester police officers are being sued in federal court by a man they arrested in 2018 who is accusing them of using excessive force.
