Buffalo Grove Deputy Police Chief Michael Szos retired Tuesday, ending a 34-year law enforcement career that saw him tackle nearly every assignment in the department.

The Buffalo Grove Police Dept., in partnership with the fire department, hosted their sixth annual “Shopping with Heroes” event Saturday, Dec. 10 at Target, 1400 W. Lake Cook Rd., Wheeling.
