In a bizarre twist in the unfolding saga around NYC fine wine store Sherry Lehmann, the property's landlord is suing the company's former owners to settle unpaid rent accrued by its current owner.

Sherry-Lehmann’s landlord is suing the iconic wine retailer as well as its former owners over $3.6 million in unpaid rent – and is demanding that its shuttered store on Park Avenue be cleared out immediately, according to a court filing.

For 88 years, Sherry-Lehmann has set the standard for Manhattan wine retail; now it's behind on paying suppliers and delivering to customers. Who's to blame?
