But firefighters are still watching for hot spots this morning. The fire was out officially at about 9 30 last night. But check out some of this video shot yesterday. Three homes burned in this fire as well as several outbuildings and about 50 acres of land on Kimball Island, which is accessible only by boat. The fire was reported at about 2 30 yesterday afternoon. It started as a small brush fire but spread quickly because of the strong winds. The lack of rain and the unseasonably dry conditions just make the fire conditions just as bad as in the middle of fire season. Reporter firefighters evacuated four people.
