Bangalore Traffic Police in the south zone are cracking down on parking violations by identifying 75 roads for special enforcement drives against footpath parking and no parking violations. The initiative aims to alleviate severe traffic congestion caused by parking issues on roads and bring back towing on a pilot basis.

The man had 54 violations for riding without a helmet, 34 for defective number plates, five for using mobile phone while driving, three for no entry, one for parking in a no parking zone, one for parking on zebra crossing and one for triple riding. The arrest came after a netizen, Prasanna Kumar, posted a video of the accused riding against traffic restrictions.
