Microsoft Paint, the image editor included with Windows since 1985, is getting a major upgrade. The Paint app will now include features like layers and transparency, making it more useful for digital art creation.

You can now add, remove, and manage layers on the canvas to create richer and more complex digital art.

The MS Paint is now featuring layers and PNG transparency support for all editing needs. There are many photo editing apps or software available in the market now but look no further as Microsoft updates the Paint program to give it better support and new features like what Adobe's Photoshop has to offer.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has announced that it will no longer update WordPad and plans to remove the word processor from a future release of Windows nearly after 30 years.
