Artist Leslie DeHaven has found a home in Houston and a new creative passion. Her abstracts on canvas pull from years on the road and places abroad and will be on display at Mid Main Gallery in a solo show dubbed "The Space Between," as part of Mid Main Houston's First Thursday block party series.

Mid Main hosts a vibrant monthly event on the first Thursday of each month for a Spring and Fall season. This Thursday June 2 is the final one for the Spring and will feature live bands, artwork and shopping up and down the block.

The Houston Art Car Parade has been a yearly tradition since 1988 and one of the citys most festive and eclectic celebrations of artists in the community.
