The Nissan Rogue continues to dominate the most popular segment in Canada with a notable accolade for its 2021 model. The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada awarded the well-equipped SUV with the title of “Best Mid-Size Utility Vehicle in Canada for 2021.”
A panel comprised of 100 automotive journalists cast its vote to honor the Rogue after putting the SUV through a series of tests and evaluations. As part of the judging criteria, the auto journalists examined the Rogue’s safety systems, convenience features, modern tech, and performance.

The challenges of a global pandemic haven’t hindered the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) experts in their duties of selecting the nation’s best new vehicles.
Today, they announced the winners in eight different vehicle categories including cars, utility vehicles, and pickup trucks. These categories represent a broad cross-section of popular new vehicles on sale today in Canada.

Four of the eight categories were won by brands having Korean roots, evenly split between Kia and Genesis. Mazda sees its 3 sedan and hatchback take honours in its category and is, in fact, a repeat winner. Subaru locks down the Small Utility category with its Crosstrek while the Ram 1500 was named Best Full-Size Pickup Truck in Canada for 2021.
