RIPLEY, N.Y. An Ohio man has died from injuries suffered when a logging accident Saturday morning.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff s Office says David Byler, 46, of Middlefield Ohio was in a wooded area off Klondike Rd. in the Town of Ripley when one of the trees he was cutting fell on him.
Byler was taken to Westfield Memorial Hospital then airlifted to Hamot Hospital in Pennsylvania where he succumbed to him injuries Sunday afternoon.
