Rose Run Valor and Yo Mister shared the Miami Valley spotlight on Wednesday, April 19, as the former won the $34,000 Open Handicap Trot and the latter won the championship leg of the $30,000 Dr. Dan Farwick Memorial Trotting Series.

Rose Run Valor used a ground-saving trip and an opening up the stretch to score a 1:53 upset in Miami Valley Raceway’s $30,000 Open Handicap Trot on Wednesday (April 12).

Although there were only three female trotters mixed with a half dozen male counterparts in the $25,000 final of the Ray Paver Sr. Memorial Series on Wednesday (March 22) at Miami Valley Raceway, two of those mares showed their heels to the field and swept the winning exacta spots.

Despite the fact that the last four weekly winners of the Open Trot at Miami Valley were in the field, a new winner emerged on Wednesday (March 15) in the $30,000 feature race.
