The Maine State Library has launched a pilot telehealth program with 10 libraries across the state in communities with high instances of health issues or a lack of ready access to health care or technology at home.

The Maine State Library launched a pilot telehealth program with 10 libraries across the state last year in communities with high instances of health issues or a lack of ready access to health care or technology at home.

Libraries have become important telehealth hubs in areas with a lack of ready access to health care or technology at home.

About 80 members representing 24 fire departments participated across both sites this week.
