The Newport News Mobile Command Post is used for community events, natural disasters, and critical incidents like the recent shooting at Heritage High School.

Sarah Whitney Ganoe, 35, is accused of stabbing her 10-month-old son, Zell Howard, to death. Another of her children, 7-month-old Salem Jade Ferguson, died unexpectedly on Aug. 22, 2012.
