A Saskatoon jury had to decide if a man named "Tax" seen on video shooting Nayneecassum in the leg at Aria Food and Spirits was Abdi. 

The Crown told a Saskatoon jury Abdi is seen on video shooting Logan Nayneecassum, calling changes in his appearance a "red herring."

Afrah Ahmed Abdi (Ali), 35, is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of 30-year-old Logan Nayneecassum on Aug. 21, 2020.

Some witnesses identified a man on surveillance video the night of the shooting as being a "regular" named "Tax." The Crown is trying to establish that "Tax" is the accused.
