Two Goldsboro men were arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder Wednesday in connection with a shooting that took place Sunday afternoon along Central Heights Road.

Part I crimes reported in Goldsboro were up almost across the board between January and November of 2022 in comparison to the same time frame in 2021.

Two people were injured in a weekend shooting on Beech Street that also caused more than $11,000 in damage to a group of vehicles.
