Antique tractor club to meet Feb. 16
The regular meeting of the First State Antique Tractor Club will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the Greenwood VFW, at the corner of Governors Avenue and Mill Street, Greenwood. The club is now planning its annual show at the Laurel Farmers Auction Market, the last weekend of June. Upcoming club business will be addressed. Scholarship applications are due mid-April and are available on the website: firststateantiquetractorclub.com. CDC guidelines will be practiced at this meeting. All who are planning to attend are asked to bring their face masks with them and keep the safe distance of six feet apart. Light refreshments will be served. The club is always accepting new members. Thomas Valliant White, 72, passed away at home in Millsboro, Del., surrounded by his family on Sunday Dec. 20, 2020. He was a lifelong Delmarva resident, born and raised in Salisbury, Md., to the late William Herbert White and Grace Valliant White
He loved the areaâs local waterways, working as an Ocean City lifeguard for multiple summers in his youth, spending many happy years boating the Chesapeake Bay with his family, mooring in Rock Hall, Md., and Cambridge, Md., and fishing in Fleets Bay and the tributaries of the Rappahannock River, Va.
A loving husband and compassionate father, White married Georgeann Ellen Hudson in 1976, and had two children, Alison Catherine White and Kyle Valliant White, plus a daughter-in-law, Whitney Mettam White. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie Jo White Holland, and is preceded by his sisters, Gail White Whitmore and Leslie White.

Thomas Valliant White, 72, born and raised in Salisbury, Md., passed away at home in Millsboro Sunday Dec. 20, 2020, surrounded by his family.
A life-long Delmarva resident, Tom loved the area’s local waterways, working as an Ocean City lifeguard for multiple summers in his youth, spending many happy years boating the Chesapeake Bay with his family, mooring in Rock Hall, Md., and Cambridge, Md., and fishing in Fleets Bay and the tributaries of the Rappahannock River in Virginia.
Tom was the son of the late William Herbert White and Grace Valliant White.
