Renovations have recently been completed at the old fire station in Millstreet, allowing the local Men’s Shed to get “back on track” with their meetings.

The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, has today (Monday 15th August) announced almost €7.4 million in funding to support 175 community projects nationwide.

Gifted Millstreet artist Bertie Buckley paints people, places and pets, and his enthusiasm and passion for his craft is inspiring. "Once I start, I could paint morning, noon and night, and forget even to eat at times until the hunger pangs really kick in," Bertie told The Corkman.
