Their daily afternoon activation at the mini park at turk and hyde and we are also fortunate to have lower c. B. D. Who is overseeing Sergeant Mccauley playground in the afternoons as well. But that work was funded because of the tremendous organizing that happened in our neighborhood to ensure that we are putting our resources and eyes on the park and i thank the rec and Park Commission staff for working so closely with our District Residents to ensure that were not only improving our parks but...

Lake and this is the entry way of Golden Gate Park and we invested money into doing a study at lincoln and ninth so that we can look at making that entryway to Golden Gate Park which is heavily used by so many folks all over the city and we want to make that definitely more safe and we also want to make it a nice entryway and look at signage and ways in which we could improve the experience and the ease of getting around in Golden Gate Park. So thats a whole other conversation. But ultimately, i...

To reauthorize the entitlement, but there has to not actual progress on thE Construction of the project. Commissioners, maybe instead of trying to craft specific metrics, the thing to be to say you prefer to have a hearing in two years. Its your discretion to revoke or not. You could consider the progress, whether there was applications made, whether there was due diligences, if there were delays caused by other entities, and you could choose not to revoke or you could choose to extend that dead...

There were several points wrapped in there. You were talking about Golden Gate Park, and the Golden Gate Park master plan is a living, breathing document. It actually sits on my desk. There are a number of Golden Gate Park initiatives in the Strategic Plan and i would say to you from my last 10 years in this position that there is probably no more robust conversation than there is on any issue around Golden Gate Park. I think that, frankly, i think that we have more work to do getting other neig...

Transparent process to discuss the plans of Golden Gate Park and specifically john f. Kennedy drive because its not just for people who manage parks, its actually about people who use the parks. And so i would love to have sort of a process to engage all park neighbors, stakeholders and moving forward and what that process might look like and are they willing to do that . What do you think, mr. Ginsburg. There were several points wrapped in there. You were talking about Golden Gate Park, and the...

It actually sits on my desk. There are a number of Golden Gate Park initiatives in the Strategic Plan and i would say to you from my last 10 years in this position that there is probably no more robust conversation than there is on any issue around Golden Gate Park. I think that, frankly, i think that we have more work to do getting other neighborhood groups and folks from other parks engaged in, you know, sort of park policy and park advocacy conversations and theres a lot around Golden Gate Pa...

That i grew up with are not at those meetings, that we are not represented, so i think when we talk about development in the excelsior, we really want Genuine Development for the people already living there, and that its not enough to open the door, i think, and maybe we can talk about it later on, but i really feel we have to step outside the door and reach for the community. Again, i saw a slide that said not many of our Community Members shop in the mission area. I dont think youve been in ou...

That. Your points are extremely well taken, but i think youre actually starting to see the fruit of that strategy long before there was this data. President buell commissioner harrison. Commissioner harrison ornamental beds, was it the absence or they were not kept well . A park is never punished for a feature that the park doesnt contain. Its only what is at the park that is not maintained. You talk about ornamental bed, what is that . Its a piece of landscape that has planting. Its not necessa...

That because part of displacement is home values go up, people already feel cost burdened, they feel like they were already kind of on the emgem edges, and so they feel like they need to sell out to take care of their families, and we should be thinking just as much about that as we do of displacement or people that are being evicted from their homes or otherwise forced out. I think thats more the case in this district that maybe is not the case in other places. And finally, the whole confluence...

Not just high volume tourists and then also workers during lunch time, high homeless population. Using the data to look forward how to improve cleanliness, focussing on those three areas would be a good choice. Great, so i know you want more information. So youre in luck. There is an annual report, which was recently released, that has all the data, map for each feature. Highest and lowest. We have a case study of the lowest scoring park. A lot of rich information there. And quarterly we updated...
