Woodway will start a $945,000 project next month to expand water service capacity in an area seeing new residential development.

Estates Drive in Woodway will get a new look, with traffic lanes cut from four to two, a central turn lane, and combined bike-pedestrian lanes separated from traffic.

Woodway is making progress on repairing three wells that had problems this summer, with two fixed as of this week and repairs continuing on a third.

Woodway officials Wednesday continued to urge water conservation as they prepared to reinstall one well pump that needed repair and waited for word on a second.
