The Duke Chapel carillon played the UNC-Chapel Hill alma mater in solidarity with the Tar Heels after Monday’s fatal shooting on campus. Universities across NC offered tributes, putting rivalry aside.

Tuesday’s vigil at the Duke Chapel was organized by the Duke Student Government. Gary Bennett, dean of Duke's Trinity College of Arts and Sciences, was in attendance.&nbsp&#x3B;

The Duke University Chapel performed the Michigan State Fight Song and Alma Mater in a recital by a MSU alum Tuesday afternoon.
