An Amber Alert has been issued by the Durham Police Department as police search for a small child who was reported missing Monday, officials said.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 4-year-old girl reported missing in North Carolina Monday.

Authorities said 4-year-old Paisley Grayson was taken by 37-year-old Mitchell Grayson. Authorities believe the girl is being taken to either Moravian Falls, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

An AMBER Alert was issued in Durham for 4-year-old Paisley Grayson. Investigator said a man named Mitchell Grayson took her without permission.

Officials are asking for help finding Paisley Grayson.
