The Santa Clarita Economic Development Corporation recognizes  this years list of most influential leaders in the region, including Holly Schroeder, SCVEDC president and chief executive officer. Several members of the SCVEDC's Board of Directors have also been named to the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s Valley 200 list announced on July 31.

Mitzi Like’s business has benefited from the remote-work paradigm.

Mitzi Like, President and CEO of LBW Insurance and Financial Services has been appointed to the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Board of Directors. 

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health cautions residents who are planning to visit the following Los Angeles County beaches to avoid swimming, surfing and playing in ocean waters.

One of the oldest insurance companies in the region, LBW Insurance was founded in 1922 and operates out of Valencia. Mitzi Like, the firm’s chief executive, began her career in the claims department in 1977 at St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Co. By 2002, she was LBW’s chief executive. The firm is licensed in all 50 states and has international offerings.
