World's First Carbon Capture Pilot for Smelters Launched in Norway
Aker Carbon Capture has delivered the world’s first carbon capture pilot for smelters in Rana, Norway. The pilot unit is connected to Elkem’s plant in Rana which produces high-purity ferrosilicon as well as microsilica and on full-scale, it is expected to capture 1.5 million tonnes of CO2.
