The death toll in the Raigad landslide reached 10 on Thursday afternoon as authorities said relief and rescue work was progressing despite hurdles. The landslide occurred in the tribal village of Irsalvadi near Morbe Dam in Raigad in the early hours of Thursday.

The maximum rainfall was reported in the Airoli ward with 78.2 mm, followed by Koparkhairane with 75.4 mm.

Among the wards, the highest rainfall was observed in Digha, with 34 mm, closely followed by Airoli at 33.6 mm. Other wards in the region also received varying amounts of rainfall.
