right. it is kind of old news but the fact is that the white house and the president lied for a very long time about the nature of the meeting and the existence of the meeting and now all of a sudden he s taken the o.j. position. i didn t do it but if i did, it s no big deal. and i think that it constricts the zone of possible arguments of the president can make and it undermines his credibility and gives mueller more stuff to chew on. to that point, is the president doing himself any favors with these tweets? back when the president was planning his presidential campaign in 2014, he told me he would be doing a lot of his communications via tweet. it frightened me a little bit, and i wasn t really in favor of all this communication by twitter, but as it comes around he has done a tremendous amount of job.
