Morelli Bridge News Today

Many modern firetrucks and ambulances exceed the posted weight limits for some bridges in Lewis and Clark County, which could lead to longer emergency response times when seconds matter most.

The Montana Historical Society has announced eight new nominations for the National Historic Register, including the Morelli Bridge above Reeder’s Alley built in 1892.

Since 1892, the 96-foot-long and 22-foot-wide Morelli Bridge has been helping travelers throughout Montana get from location to location.
