Mary Catherine Kodet, 86, of New London, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 19th. Family and friends are invited to reminisce and celebrate the life of Mary with visitation starting at 9:30 am, Saturday, November 25th at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 680 153rd Ave NE, Spicer, MN, with her Mass of Christian Burial to be at 11:00 am. Indiana voters across the state showed support for giving their school districts the green light to use millions of dollars in property tax revenue to hire and retain teachers and fund programs and transportation. 

Indiana voters will consider property tax referendums for school funding in the 2023 election. The proposals support hiring teachers, funding programs, and more in 11 districts.

The School City of Hammond is seeking approval for an operating referendum originally approved in 2017, and a $84.2 million capital projects referendum.
