The Police Service Commission (PSC) has condemned the wave of attacks on police personnel in the country, especially in Delta and Imo states, insisting that the time has come for police commands to rise to the occasion.   In a statement on Sunday in reaction to the recent killings in the two states, the commission chairman, Solomon Arase, questioned the competence of the commissioners of police in both states.

Three mobile policemen attached to PMF 51, Oghara, have been reportedly abducted by suspected herdsmen in Delta State.

The spate of kidnapping and criminality in the country would continue to increase if nothing was done about the terrorists.
