International Mountain Day highlights the importance of conserving mountains as required for sustainable development. The theme for this year is "Restoring Mountain Ecosystems".

Conservation in the form of marine protected areas isn’t a privilege, but a value that all communities should embrace. 

The team from the universities of Exeter and Stellenbosch and Greenpeace recorded sounds at the Vema Seamount in the Atlantic Ocean.
