Huntsville City School Board members heard parents concerns about the proposed plan and offered their responses.

Huntsville City Schools is looking to undergo major renovation and expansion projects, all part of its 10-year proposed capital plan that was recently unveiled. The first in a series of informational meetings about the proposed plan was held Tuesday evening for parents to attend and ask questions.

The district will hold several community meetings to discuss plans and engage parents in feedback.

The department says one person is in custody and is being questioned by investigators.

The Huntsville Police Department says two people have life-threatening injuries after an incident on Mountain Gap Road.
